On a sunny day on October we arrived at Julia’s sister’s elegant home were she was getting ready in the company of her sister and her family. As make-up artist Antigoni Livieratou was doing Julia’s wonderful and minimal make up, we grabbed the opportunity to take some photos of her romantic wedding dress and its beautiful lace details.
With the help of her mother she put on her wedding dress and was ready to meet Argyris.
Meanwhile, Argyris chose to get ready in the Civitel Hotel surrounded by friends, his sister, his mother and father who all helped him get ready. Friends helped with the details such as his bow tie and blue cufflinks and his father completed the suit as he helped Argyris put on his jacket. We snapped some photos of Argyris looking dapper in his suit and off we were for the church.
We arrived at the Agia Sophia, a spacious orthodox church in Psychiko which was beautifully decorated with pink and white lace flowing down the stairs of the church. There, at the marble stairs under the arches of the entrance, Argyris with the wedding bouquet on his hands waited for Julia to arrive while greeting guests and family who all of course wanted a photo with the groom.
After a short while Julia arrived and climbed the church stairs accompanied by her father and little nephew. Argyris presented Julia her wedding bouquet in white and purple tones and a kiss later they walked inside the church were the beautiful ceremony took place. After the ceremony the couple exited the church surrounded by guests throwing rice as is customary. They then quickly headed off to the venue to welcome their guests.
